The fragility of quantum memory

“You geek!” she scorned, laughing at the conversation she had just overheard.

“We were only discussing the developments in quantum computing,” I said in my defence.

“Whatever!” she said.

“It’s the qubits. They’re so unstable, but they can perform multiple simultaneous calculations.”

That’s when I knew I had lost her.
