The premonition

The sun danced in her hair as she wandered carefree through the cornfields. She felt happy, no, lucky to be alive, for only moments earlier she had brushed aside a sense of impending doom so overwhelming she thought she might die. Then, without warning, the plane fell from the sky.

      I love the idea that these stories are somehow taking on their own ‘days of the week’ categories, which is absolutely nothing to do with me. Thanks for that.
