Gathering moss

March 13, 2013

I read an interview with Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood’s ex-wife. The self-proclaimed environmental campaigner sells her own range of organic beauty products and deplores those who abuse the planet for profit, yet says her most unappealing habit is speeding. Jo, why not save lives and the planet? GET A BIKE!

An interesting variation in style. This reads so well that I didn’t think it was a fifty words, so relaxed and confident that all can be said completely unconscious of limits. Nice piece of commentary too.

I actually emailed the Guardian’s Weekend magazine with the same comment, I was so incensed. That’s why I decided to turn it into a fifty words. She went on to admit that her guiltiest pleasure is “a pot full of caviar”. So she deplores others who abuse the planet for profit, but happily eats the over-priced reproductive innards of its inhabitants. Sorry, that’s the vegetarian in me!
