Last Sunday I went for a long, therapeutic walk in the early spring sunshine. Lost in my thoughts, something caught my eye beneath the bracken. Glinting furiously, the light reflecting off it was shattered into a million neon rainbow rays. Instinctively I reached down. It was a piece of glass.
Ouch, both for the disappointment and potential laceration of the fingers.
I know, a bit sad for a Monday morning. I’ll try to be more cheery tomorrow.
